The name Silk & Soul Acupuncture was inspired by the life and work of Nina Simone who conjured the power of the arts as medicine for the soul. It also reflects the strength and grace of the ancestors, and their own path to healing. Silk & Soul Acupuncture seeks liberation of people from unnecessary suffering through the ancient traditions of acupuncture and other nature-based healing modalities. We believe that your body is wise and knows what it needs to be in balance. Let us help you listen to the wisdom of your body so that you can live your best life!
We are rooted in a strong commitment to foster healing from the continued injustices that plague underserved communities. To do this, our treatment philosophy includes offering tools of empowerment and transformation to reclaim the wellness in body, mind and spirit that is your birthright.
In many ways, Silk & Soul Acupuncture is for the “Nina” within many of us – needing, committed to, and fighting for our personal and collective liberation and glorious living.
